Lisa Jackson, Tell me. I just started it. I wanted Dark Places by Gillian Flynn, but had to request it......and wait.
Not reading this now,but is one of my favorite books,Lone Survivor,by Marcus Luttrell..the story of operation Redwing, and the harrowing account of Marcus' odyssey in attempting to survive..the op commander,Lt Michael Murphy, received the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest award, posthumously for his actions in this incident. The movie will be out Jan 10 2014,and I urge all who can to attend a screening,to try to understand the sacrifices our military folks go through for us..
I have liked a few from Jackson..However, I put her book on hold because Dark Places( Gillian Flynn) became available. I am not far into it..but it is a page turner already.I used to read her and I liked her a lot in the beginning but then the stories started to feel the same . . .only the characters were different. I will admit, the girl's got skills when it come to writing the steamy parts.
. . .a few of those lines I read twice . . .
Finished Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter and the latest Alex Cross, Cross My Heart by James Patterson. CL, CL is quite good and I recommend. If you are an Alex Cross fan, be forewarned!
This is awesome. And so TRUE! (and yet, so hard to actually do)
I've been reading a great coffee table book called "Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities". Great stuff for fans of del Toro's movies!
Well, guess I won't be reading this one then. Done with the dogs!I just finished Innocence by Dean Koontz. It's a little bit different than his others but pretty good if you like his books as I do. (And, yes there is a smart dog or two.)
