Oh sorry! so it was a pretty bad dream, eh? At leastIt's painful to see him, please.
Watched this one also with my 9 year old son. Haven't seen him that riveted by a movie in quite a while. Wish we would have caught this one at the theater. Special effects must have cost a fortune on that one. It wasn't what I was expecting. Solid movie imho.I watched Pacific Rim . . .twice this weekend. I'll add it to my collection. Love it~ The visuals are amazing and crisp. Wonderful story-line and easy to follow. Ron Perlman, rocked~ I wanted to see more of him.
No, I just miss her…I mean him. AndOh sorry! so it was a pretty bad dream, eh? At leastwasn't in it!Johnny Depp
Yep, that is scary!The Exorcist
It sounded kind of lame when my boyfriend tried to explain the story, but he clearly wanted to see it, so I said ok. I was totally hooked in minutes. I think it's the best new movie I have seen all year.Watched this one also with my 9 year old son. Haven't seen him that riveted by a movie in quite a while. Somebody's got to pay for Barbra's nails, don cha know? They're like buttah! The Guilt Trip with Seth Rogen and Barbara Striesand
Ehh. Not horrible but not very good either. There also was way too much corporate ad placement.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the Alistair Sim version. That Marley is SCARY! Sad because my tape is dying, though, and I have yet to find a DVD version around here.
It's an awesome collection! There's so-o much 'extra' stuff on those discs!I bought the Blu Ray Alien Anthology today. I have seen the first two (utterly brilliant), and some of the third (pretty darn good from what I've seen) prior to this, but I will spend a lot of time absorbing directors cuts, assembly cuts etc.

You won't get any better than the first two Alien movies. After that it's kind of downhill, but I have to give the director of the 3rd one credit as he filmed without a finished script in hand and had people from the studio coming to him almost everyday with 'ideas', etc. There's some surprises in the 4th one that were interesting, too. Have you seen Prometheus? It's directed by Ridley Scott and is actually a prequel to the first Alien film. I didn't care much for it the 1st time I watched it but liked it better the second time around.I have seen very little of Resurrection, is it any good ?
As I said I loved the first two, and from what I have seen of the third one, it looks pretty cool, but I have heard that No. 4 is too tongue-in-cheek after the nihilism of 3.

Yes, I am still trying to figure out exactly what happens in the first two minutes- even with listening to what Ridley had to say about it, it seems kind of weird and doesn't really tie into the movie for me. What I didn't like about it is that you find out where the 'big creature in the chair' from the beginning of the first movie came from (I think it added more to the mystery of the 1st movie).Haven't seen Prometheus yet, I have heard it is as confusing as hell though.
