The intro to Lucky Quarter where King talks about how he came up with the idea of the story he states that was crossed the country from Maine to Cali in the fall of 1996 to promote "Insomnia." However, "Insomnia" came out in 1994. Is this an error?

Thx. My guess is that it means to say 1994 when he crossed the country when he was promoting "Insomnia" and while on the trip he came up with the idea of "Desperation" because that came out in 1996.

this holding onto the thought of being lucky is in the mind of any gambler, I guess.
I had a lucky streak on the horses, where I doubled up and doubled up, and doubled up again- all the way to $1800. now every time I win, I try and reinact that feeling - to no avail. my lucky car park space has been rubbish, and always leaves me with nothing but the odd lucky dollar forsaken by the bookies.
