Mr. King I had wanted to tell you this along time ago when you first put this book out in chapter books as I waited on pins and needles of the next one to be released. I loved the way this book was delivered and it would be a shame if you did not put out another in the same fashion.
P.S. I believe the saddest part of this book being put out the way it was it that I know longer have them. We were robbed when we moved out to Arizona from Michigan and my whole Stephen King collection all with everything else was stolen. I have gotten much of it back but finding the Green Mile in the chapter books is not easy. Again I would honestly love to see another one of your pieces put out to the public this way...I guess I love the suspense of the whole idea.
welcome to the board. So sorry to hear about your king collection. Insurance is important when you have something this valuable. i sure hope you can find these again. Check your second hand stores. I found them on ebay before. Glad you joined us.

Really? They just opened one here in my little part of Missouri. I haven't been there but my daughter loves it and if they are charity affiliated she will like that even more.

Maybe the same company, or maybe a coincidence? It is all used stuff that has been donated. Can smell kind of like an old laundry at times, so if you are sensitive, I would not advise going in there if you are not feeling well. I am not saying it is stinky or anything, but there is a definite 'aroma' of old stuff lingering in there! After about 10 - 15 minutes of being in there you don't notice it anymore

Yeah I think it is the same company. Talked to my daughter about it and she said it was like a goodwill but she says she finds really good items . I used to work with elderly. Smell doesn't bother me much anymore.
I found the entire set at the Goodwill close to home for .50 cents each The Green Mile book and movie are equally great, I really feel that the movie captured John Coffee with perfection that could never be captured better by anyone.
I am sorry I have not gotten back to you about this. I am have a ABD (all but dissertation) but I am working on the dissertation to get me title as doctor. I work full-time and overtime as much as possible. I am also working on the revision of my first book and finishing up my second one. I wish I has more hands, more time, energy to get things taken care of. If you still have the set let me know I would really like to have it again.

Thank you for the update. I maybe crazy but I joined Mr. King's book club. I know I will get everyone single one of my collection back now. But I realized I do have an extra copy of Under the Dome in hard cover. So, maybe I will use the forum.

Depending on how much you're into the collecting aspect of it, you might want to hang onto the other copy as book club editions are not valued as highly as the original publisher's copies.
OMG. I'd die if I had to wait for another thing to happen. I'm almost expired <melodrama> just waiting for what's going to happen to Dale Barbara. I mean waiting nine whole MONTHS? I might actually turn into a ghost before it happens.
I'm so impatient that I had to take a job doing something where it's imperative to act and NEVer wait, then I have to wait nine whole MONTHS to find out if
Dale Barbara's going to be hanged by Junior, whose hand is on the lever that will decide Dale Barbara's fate?
I have the hardest time in the world waiting for stuff. Not that I totally understand why because I work with doctors, some of whom I think purposely make us wait for their arrival, but I'm impatient at my core.
