i just watched the finale, i am not sure how i feel about it. it wrapped things up but left a lot of unanswered questions, i missed a few eps near the end of season 2, so i am kinda lost as to how the whole thing turned into what season 3 is about. i am currently reading the book and still in the beginning, i noticed in the list of characters in the front of the book, it didnt list Angie as having a brother. I also was surprised to see who Barbie was as a character, compared to the tv show, as well as to see the Junior + Angie storyline being pretty different and ending at the very beginning of the book, instead of the way it played out in the show.

Finally it is over! Didn't like the ending, actually, it looked like they were trying to end it quickly, showing us all the events in the last 15 minutes of the movie... The episode was actually boring. I remember the final episode of the first season, that was some ending! I guess back then I was looking forward to the next season to know what happens next and this last episode... just not good enough for me. Anyway, I am glad the show is finally over. If not for Mike Vogel and the actor who plays big Jim (don't remember his name), I probably would quit long before.

Except for character names, the dome and a few incidents, the book and the TV show are miles apart.

i really hope there is no more!

without divulging details, when the dome comes down in the book, is everything different in terms of story and events? i mean everyone keeps saying it is, and so i dont know what to expect, as i have only seen the show so far, is the aliens and how things go down in the show not even in the book? is something else complety going on instead?
