Been reading king for 3 years now. Currently on book 36. I have realized that he ties a lot of his novels together. My question is I finished under the dome and I can't help thinking if the ending is tied to revival. I haven't heard of this being said before. Does anyone believe or know that he did indeed do this?

Not to my knowledge, and I don't believe that was his intention.

I've read both and the ending of Revival gave me a Lovecraftian chill.

The ending to Under the Dome--while certainly having that same powerful outsider presence--was more fantasy in nature than horror, and lacked the dark and spiritual elements of Revival. The motives and intentions of these beings are completely different in each novel, as is the way they gain access to our world.

I seem to feel a similarity, too. I think it's the...
...insect thing. Maybe images of insects have some kind of primal significance in the human mind, and so are reminiscent of each other.
