I remember watching a Blair Witch type film, where it was CCTV footage of a young girl watching a horror film. I think it was called 'Let's Scare Becca to Death'

I've never seen that one but Let's Scare Jessica was listed as one of the scariest horror movies ever made. They finally released it to DVD about 10 years ago. I highly recommend it.

One of my first loves was "ghost ship" watching it again I found it was not as scary as I thought it once was. but I find myself still mesmerized. What do you remember being your first favourite "horror/thriller" ????
it was four actually I saw them all at the same age around the same week... PET SEMETERY, FRIDAY THE 13th part 2, ANOES, HALLOWEEN & 2... I forgot THE STAND, TOMMY KNOCKERS, IT because of TV they were the first experience... Thou I still remember the hole in the hand on HBO HITCHIKER series when I was 2-3 years old...

I think the first scary movie I ever saw that both scared and delighted me was The Sixth Sense, which seems cheesy now, but was amazing when it first was out in theatres. I love movies with lots of subtle mystery and suspense in them rather than more classic in-your-face zombie/monster movies. I also remember watching The Blair Witch Project while I was home alone for the weekend once when I was a teenager (and it was really just me, as I am an only child.) That was creepy in a fun way.

I can remember a lot of movies-or snippets of them, anyway-that I saw before I was old enough not to be traumatized, lol. The Birds, Carrie (the first one), Watcher in the Woods, the ending of Who Framed Roger Rabbit...:icon_eek: I was a ridiculously sensitive kid.

Hey, I'm gettin' old! Gimme a break! ;-D
Speaking of getting old, didn't Sai King say something about Alzheimer's being a really scary thing?

I saw a movie (but would not call it a horror movie, technically) in which Julianne Moore goes from being a college professor to a poor thing afflicted with Alzheimer's. (It was called Still Alice).

To me, that is real horror. Dad had a very bad case of Alzheimer's and I can only pray that it is not hereditary!
