Wilmington DE, strange little place.
I have heard her voice for 2 seconds on TV. She did a interview with her husband not long after the accident. I only heard her talk 2 words so I don't know what her voice is like...until last night ...
I think.

I have CD version of Nightmares and Dreamscapes , all 27 hours .
Tabby reads one of the stories aloud . I am all most certain that its the one
about a House that...changes , the story is very much like the Tommyknockers .
4 kids 'take care' of their step-father ,

am I correct about this?
also her voice.. she has what I think is a Boston accent and a clear lisp .
Is she doing this 'for the story' or is that the way she talks?
Please, where did she grow up? was that her normal voice I heard or was it
'...part of the story? Her voice is a perfect addition to the story , it works...
perfect.

this CD is very cool...I am lazy...so I listen instead of read !

Yes, she reads "The House on Maple Street."

You can hear her in this interview:

Thanks for this Bev. That was actually incredibly hard to watch, his fragility back then was almost palpable and it made me both very sad for what they've all been through... but also hugely relieved to see how far he has come.
Somebody was looking over that man for sure and I'm so pleased.

Lovell, Maine. Looks like a right dump, doesn't it?

Seriously, I could slum it there. (I've always fancied a place in the woods beside a lake. Little jetty sticking out into the water. Hills and mountains over yonder. I'll never get one. Serves me right for watching Airwolf when I was a kid and thinking Stringfellow Hawke's log cabin was the dog's dangly bits.)

...and I'll pass on the posting of any dangly bits.......this is where the Mod's thank me most vociferously....

Tiny, Tabitha is from Maine and has lived most of her life here so that's the accent you're hearing which is similar to but not quite the same as what you'd hear in Boston. There are regional differences even throughout Maine--the accent on the coast is quite different than what you'd hear in northern Aroostook county or even from the Bangor area where Tabby grew up.

....dude, I gotta give you mad props for that post!...mixing an Airwolf reference AND the term "dog's dangly bits" into one sentence was just a wild bit of genius...

Well, it was true, so I wrote it.
Still love that intro theme, even if it does make me feel ancient.

And yep, it's a shame what JMV did to himself. I read too that the chopper they used got destroyed in a crash in Germany c.1991. IIRC it was being used as an air ambulance. But hey, the show was good while it lasted, right? (I couldn't stand the later/last season(s). No Hawke? Fugedaboudit! Guy was a dude...and I think they might also have lost Caitlin. Double deal-breaker.)
