I read it and

listened to the audio. I love any audio where Stephen reads his own work. Because then we know EXACTLY how he wanted it to sound. The emphasis on things, the inflections -- love it.
Last year, while looking for audios for a friend, I found Blood and Smoke on cassettes at a thrift store. My friend already owned it, so I kept them - just need to find my cassette player! :)

No I didn't watch the movie and I am soooo glad because I am listening to Mr. King read it to me on audio (I'm a constant listener) and it is beautiful--really enjoying this one. You can tell Mike Noonan really loved his wife because of the details of his descriptions of her. May we all be so remembered by those who love us.
I've been a long time SK fan, although I did get away from him for a while. I 'found' him again when I joined audible, and I'm glad to rediscover and fall in love with his books all over again. So many new ones.... but I can honestly say, I ADORED "Bag of Bones". I usually listen to my books when I'm in the car, cleaning, doing chores, or at the beach. This is the ONLY one that had me listening to it at every opportunity. I love it when King reads his own works.

This is my favorite book of all time. I didn't know SK narrated this one. Never listened to an audio before, but have purchased SK audios for a friend. This is one I DEFINITELY have to buy and listen to! :)

I didn't know SK narrated the audio book either - I'm going to go see if Amazon has it. I loved the story - it was both gothicy and twilight zoney :) (those are valid terms, right? My auto correct thingy doesn't seem to think so :()

It was terrible that his life was a constant theme of loss...his wife, his last love interest, friend...but the child, the rainbow.
