I'm not sure if you are up with the times, but I had made a similar statement once. The audio books from the days gone by were poorly made and narration was pretty close to monotone. Today, they are much better with Narrators like Frank Muller (RIP), Jonathan Melrose (Retired), Grover Gardner, Scott Brick, Campbell Scott, Katherine Kellgren, Will Patton, George Guidall and many others, not to mention the new technology used in audio books.

It May still do nothing for you; however, I get more of my daily chores done listening to a audio books. When I read I get nothing done but the reading of the book. It can also make long road trips appear too short. Audio books are like the movie version in your head, except they are uncut.
