Ms. Mod has mentioned that Stephen won't be touring in 2014, he's decided to make it a stay at home and write year, as 2013 was so busy.
I can't find the post, but if memory serve me correctly, SK is taking 2014 off from tours/book signings.

OK.That's good. Thanks! I was just wondering. He usually does something Boston and since I know people out there....it would be possible...but oh well. There is always the King Kon in July!

Just checking... (in case you didn't know) but you do realise that Stephen won't be attending the Kon?

Yes, I know he won't be there, it's just a King-related event that is close to me that I can attend, which doesn't happen. Funny, we are going to a show tonight and the kids are going to the grandparents. My one son didn't know where we were going and he says to my husband "What are you doing tonight, going to some Stephen King thing?" Ha! They are learning quickly.

Any thing king is worth attending. I so hope some day to meet the man himself.
Maybe you can come to the KingKon in Ohio this year? I am hoping to attend if it ends up being on the weekend I have off! (I have even asked hubby about it and told him I really, really wanted to go (fingers crossed):okay::biglove:

Although I'm gutted to hear he won't be touring, ergo nowhere near here, there's a part of me that's pleased he's spending the year at home writing... cos that means more books for us!!!!! *cracks whip and tells him to get on with it, nicely though*
Exactly @mustangclaire
He is doing what he loves - writing! (and we are all the more happy because of it). Plus he can spend more time with Tabby
