Besides DT1, I'm particularly partial to DT4.
Enjoy.

I know the feeling. Just go with it and enjoy.I started the DT series the morning the forum went dark, going into King withdrawl, I had to do something... right? I read book one in two long sittings, breaking for lunch... a quick sandwich. The writing style is much different, and I read one night until four am, but i'm retired... so?
I am currently 2/3 through DTIII. To all those who said, "You have to start..."
I tip my hat. I wii keep you posted, but I have reading to do.
That would have been cool. The wife was with me... she uses the Gibbs Slap.If you want, I could come along to your meeting, and poke you with my stick if you start snoring......

If I remember correctly, Wolves of the Calla is my second favorite in the series after The Drawing of the Three. Tomorrow will be a good reading day!I finished Wizards and Glass, and Wolves is laying on the table beside the Recliner that is MY prison since I broke (shattered) my leg. I keep reaching for the dang thing, but NO... I am a Marine, I have Will Power... I will NOT start that book tonight. If I so much as crack the cover, I will be reading until sunup. We all know it.
I will check a few things on the forums, deal with a few emails and then try and get as much sleep as I can. When the pain awakens me, Wolves will keep me company. Something to look forward to.
Hey, I'm old, life has it's little pleasures.

The Wolves was my favorite book, Sai Marine. Long days and pleasant nights.Thankee Sai, but I see not thus happen.
A Gunslinger such as I will go as I have, to change...
Would be to forget the face of my father...
This I can not do.
See? You've already changed but have not forgotten the face of your father!Thankee Sai, but I see not thus happen.

Book V is in the can. I am so grateful I won't have to wait years for VI and VII. I was annoyed that it took nearly seven minutes to locate and download them to my kindle.
But seriously, how lucky am I? That tricksie ending in five, and rather than waiting years, I drink a diet soda while I wait for Amazon to give me the other fix, and i'm back in the DT world, reading VI with VII in the wings.
Read the books as published (oh, that long wait). Have since taken the journey many times. And you speak true,ghost19 , I always manage to pick up something with each re read-- a new foreshadowing, a missed clue, or best of all-- as I have aged, new understandings. Life changing journey!Once you get done with the series, come back to it now and then for a re-read. You'll find some nuance in the books you didn't pick up before every time you read thru them.
