Hello I just started reading the dark tower series about a year ago. The gunslinger was from the newest Scribner edition saying it's an upcoming major motion picture. The next 3 books have all followed this same reprint. Now that I have gotten to Wolves of the Calla I cannot seem to find the new edition or information on it anywhere. I tried contacting Scribner but had no reply. On the site here it has the cover art for what the new one would be following the same binding color splatter theme and saying it's an upcoming major motion picture. On other sites like amazon they also have the new cover art but it says the edition is from 2005, or apparently Barnes & nobles online store has all the new ones in the boxed set or at least the picture of it. I know I could just purchase an older version but I would really like for my whole series to match. Does anyone have any idea of someone I could contact to get more info? Kind of bummed out cause I'm really itching to finish the series.

The text of the book itself is the same as the earlier editions. This is just a reprint with the movie tie-in plug on the cover. According to emails I have from the publisher the new covers were used for the boxed set released December 6th.

Hello, I have exactly the same issue as DaltonL and still cannot find an adequate answer. Books 1-4 along with The Wind Through the Keyhole (in the new 2016 paperback edition) are easily available individually everywhere, but books 5-7 are nowhere to be found (individually in this edition). Like DaltonL I am hoping to complete a matching set. Of course, in retrospect I would've bought the box set out right from the beginning, but I assumed I could buy them all individually since it was so easy to do so with 1-4. So, as for the questions I feel are unanswered: Why can I only buy 1-4 and TWTTK individually when 5-7 obviously exist (because of the box set)? Will 5-7 ever be available to buy individually in this 2016 edition?

P.S. 5-7 are advertised online with the new covers but when ordered, an older edition is shipped.

Have the same problem. But I had bought Song of Susannah just more than a week ago. I'm stuck with Wizard and Glass now. :(
