When it Comes to "Storm of the Century"...

...my ideal title for a new thread on the subject was too long to stuff on the thread line. Suffice to say that I enjoyed the creeping intensity of this piece, which to me seems a quite enticing blend of everyday people meets classic noreaster (part of the time) meets a super nasty boogieman, who "boogies" about as well as any of SK's supernatural (supranatural?) entities.
Part of the intrigue for me is the "Okay, we see that the antagonist has superhuman powers that are evil as defined within the rather broad (and perhaps leaky) umbrella of human normalcy, and that said nasties must be passed on. But it begs the endless question of where (what) was the ultimate source of this creepy power to begin with?" Heh. Inquiring minds (and readers) want to know, but part of the fun is that as in real life, we don't always get answers.
This series is one I'd gladly watch again. And again. And...
