I agree with DanaJean and FlowJoe. Haunted makes a good point, too.
The last three episodes were like dying in slow motion, lol. To see Walt lose his family (Walt Junior saying he hated him, that was hard )and the knowledge that he was holding Holly probably for the last time. Skyler looked like a shell, a ghost of her former self. Hank getting killed. Marie being widowed and probably never having a normal relationship with Skyler again. So tragic.
Does anyone wonder what Jesse did or where he went when Walt helped rescue him?

A show about Jesse's current life could be good.

I do believe he did it for his family, first and foremost. And, then he started to like it. He was good at it and he took pride in that. He took pride in being a bad ass, that he probably never was in his "real" life.

He did do it for his family at first but then greed and lust for power took over. Even Skyler got caught up in the greed. What I love about the show is the gradual transformation of Walt from nice guy to scarface. Also, the way the other characters (Jesse and Skyler in particular) changed over the course of the 5 seasons was done brilliantly.

I agree... I want to believe Walter's initial intentions were good :)

I don't remember why Walter sold his part of Grey Matter to Elliott but he seemed to blame Elliott and Gretchen for his loss of riches and claim-to-fame. Do y'all think Walter's anger at them was part of the reason he became obsessed with becoming the best and richest meth cook ever?

I loved that scene where Skinny Pete and Badger held laser pointers on Elliott and Gretchen :) I have a bunch of favorite scenes. Do y'all have any favorites?

As a chemist, I think Walter was very proud and jealous of his formula and that it was in such great demand.
Also there was that big, big message that drugs can destroy your life and it all comes down to greed and the almighty dollar.

I also think pride played a big part :) I didn't know you were a chemist, do you work for a drug company? Have you been a part of any significant discoveries?

Lots of sadness in that last episode :( Breaking Bad is kinda following Star Wars' formula - middle of the story followed by the first part of the story (Better Call Saul) - I'd love to see an ending part with Jesse, Badger and Skinny Pete :)

Dear no bounce no play I am not a chemist. That first sentence of my submit was a disaster and I apologize. Maybe it should have been written: Walter, a chemist, was very proud and jealous of his formula and he took satisfaction that the demand for the resulting product was in great demand.

lol, there was nothing wrong with your sentence structure. We were talking about Walter and if I hadn't paused reading at the comma and allowed my mind to wander off, I would have realized you were referring to Walter :)

The scene where Jesse eats dinner with Walt and Skyler is a good one.

Bounce, I have so many favorite scenes. I like the whole Crawlspace episode and Ozymandias episode. A scene I really like was
when Jesse and Jane are sitting in his car in front of their duplex talking about O'Keefe and she explains the virtue of repeating something over and over as opposed to doing it only once. I liked the scene where Skyler walks into the pool because she has a plan to get the kids away from Walt. Marie was freaking out. "She's got to come up, right? Skyler!" Walt then intimidates Skyler when he finds out her motives.
Yes, I'd watch a show with Jesse and his new life. :)

Those were great scenes :)
In that Ozymandias episode, I took a deep breath when Hank said the dude had made up his mind ten minutes ago. It took me a while before I remembered to breath again.

Another scene I liked was the one where Walter sped up and ran over the two creeps who were about to shoot Jesse. I watched that scene a couple times... and cheered when Walt sent them flying lol.

I watched the first season of Better Call Saul and I liked it but I didn't connect with the characters much and didn't watch the second season. Now that I've seen Breaking Bad, I hope AMC marathons BCS so I can catch the second season.

Netflix had Better Call Saul for a while.

Los Pollos Hermanos, the fictional chicken restaurant from Breaking Bad, has entered our world. The fast-food place has opened in Austin, TX.

The actual restaurant used in the show is called Twisters and is located in Albuquerque, NM. It is fully operational. You know everyone wants to sit where Walter White (Cranston) sat in the show. :) Here is what it looks like:

My sister bought a shirt like this for me in Albuquerque last spring except mine is stark black with white and there is no name. She also bought her SIL shot glasses with Heisenberg on them, they were a real hit.
