Hi ghost19 lovely to see you... doing well thank you. Nice (mostly quiet--half the neighbourhood is on our trampoline) Saturday afternoon.
How have you been?

Hanging in there, thank you for asking. Kids never get tired of jumping on a trampoline, always a hit. Not so much when you get older and your bones aren't as flexible..lol

:biggrin2: I gave up when my kids got bigger and tougher than me.... they like to "do moves"--as in every super hero under the sun--on me.... uh, nope. I'm in the "I might break" age group now.

Keep hanging in there, buddy... you're one of the good'uns.

Hi everyone! I just now noticed this section. I'm one of those people that went from comics as a kid, to sci-fi, then graduated to writers like Kurt Vonnegut and Harlan Ellison, and discovered Stephen King thru Ellison. Although I was certainly aware of his films, I read him fairly late. In my 20's I became a literature snob, but now I'll read anything that don't read me first! A lady I used to work with kept giving me her cast off David Baldacci books until she got a Kindle. :) I read them out of duty, then started to like them! My reading habits these days, I'm a bumblebee buzzing around tasting stuff. I don't want to commit to a full on read unless it's something I'm going to have fun with, or learn or feel something. I honestly couldn't read a sci-fi novel now if you put a gun to me head! Unless it was Ellison maybe. King is one of about 5 authors I immediately check for when I hit a used book store. I'm very glad I found this forum. You people are fans without being zealots. Why aren't you zealots? You're really taking the fanatic out of fan for me. But anyway, it's the 1st day of April, the sun's come out and it's finally warming up. Life's pretty good! And this is how I feel about it!!!

A belated welcome to you grin willard - I liked the book "The Chrysalids" by John Wyndham (even though it is a fantasy tale)
