I been watching M*A*S*H a lot lately. I kinda have to, the way direct tv has been pushing it--like, three different channels have been airing marathons of it every day. Anyway, I'm just sorta amazed at how damn killer this show was. I mean, I remember watching it when I was a kid, but I didn't really 'get it' like I do now. Like, the Marx Brothers on the Western Front kinda vibe. Totally dig.

I've not seen that movie, though I do like the story. Is it good?

If it's Apt Pupil you are talking about, the movie is good and bad. The first half or so is very good but they totally botched the end of it and really took the guts out of the story. It's worth watching for an hour especially for the actor playing the Nazi (I can't remember his name but he's well known) but there's no need to watch the end of it.

Hey, sir.

I read the story and liked it but I guess I wasn't in the right mood to watch such a movie.

Hoppy Easter!

Has anyone watched this Shetland that is on Netflix right now? I love foreign TV. The landscapes intrigue me just as much as the characters and storyline. This one is set in Scotland, and yes, I have to have subtitles on because I can't catch every word of that accent.

The first episode was a bit disappointing though. I'll give it another one, but anyone watch more than that? Is it worth hanging in there?

My favorites are: Words, Holiday, First of May, I've Just Got To Get A Message To You, Run To You, and Lonely Days.
I'm partial to the older stuff too. Tributes like these are always interesting. Brings up a lot of memories and I enjoy seeing other artists' takes on their songs. Although they will never be as good as the original.

Sort of like what happens to Stephen's work when others lay their hands on it.

I'm watching: Stayin' Alive:Salute to the Bee Gees

They were an amazing group. So many songs. Soundtrack to my many years on this earth.
My favorites are: Words, Holiday, First of May, I've Just Got To Get A Message To You, Run To You, and Lonely Days.

My favorites of the 60s Bee Gees were To Love Somebody and Words. New York Mining Disaster was good, too. Did you know that Barry wrote To Love Somebody for Otis Redding?
