Bleed For This (2016) Miles Teller

Based on the incredible true story of boxer Vinny Pazienza. Pazienza was the junior middle weight champion when he broke his neck in a car accident. The doctors were unsure if he would walk again and not only did he walk again but resumed his boxing career and won the Super middleweight title. I'll put this in a category of half inspirational and half bat s* crazy. ;-D Miles Teller turns in another excellent performance.

Oh, the Pazmanian Devil is off his rocker! I saw his fight with Roy Jones Jr. I don't think he landed a punch. One of the most brutal fights I've ever seen.

I give him a lot of credit, though. Tough guy and extremely driven.

Saw a really bad movie about the sinking of the USS Indianapolis starring Nicholas Cage on Netflix a few weeks back. It was directed by Mario Van Peebles. It was atrocious. Bad acting, really bad CGI effects, BS depictions of the types of sharks that attacked the survivors. To quote Charlie Brown, "UGH!"

Alien: Covenant.

It's nice to see the Xenomorph be scary again. Overall, this was a better film than Prometheus. However, the "villain" of the piece and the connection to the Xenomorphs was, for me, a let down after building a grand vision of the mythology in Prometheus. Can't really say more without delving into spoiler territory, so I'll wait until more of you have seen it and maybe we can start a discussion. However, it was worth a trip to the cinema.

I swear it only lasted like an hour and the other 11 minutes were rocking with credits! :eyebrow: Really? that many people?

I wont spoil it if anyone else wants to watch its right here at YouTube. I highly recommend it. :rugby:
