I felt the Exact same as most people seem to feel.. my brother In law recommended it since Im on a Stephen King binge, the entire first half of the book I was pretty bored and thought, hmm... why did he recommend this? although I didn't feel the need to skim pages, regardless of days being the same there are still other points to be seen Day to day, after finishing it I cried, my dad being from Boston and a giant Red Sox fan.. the connection she had to Tom, her interpreting surviving the bear as 'closing' and 'getting the save' ... being able to channel her inner Tom and have 'ice water in her veins' absolutely an amazing story. if you read the book in its entirety and the ending didn't tie it all together for you and make you think, 'wow what a story' you are missing out! but then again, everyone has their own personal preference!

....I beg your pardon, I was simply attempting to converse and give you a recommendation....I am the resident Village Idiot-but you will definitely know if I'm trolling....

oh no, please don't take that to offense! That's why I said that I hope you werent being sarcastic, because I did think maybe there was. But forgive me for knowing trolls do exist and not assuming there actually is a pop up version of a Stephen King book. I mean, you are the one who declared me a noob. :p

Great story. When compared to the King's much longer work, reading it was like a, um, walk in the park.
I work in an office with a lot of down time.. So... I finished it in 4 days. I didn't really get into it until the end but still. Great story, but yes definitely a walk in he park as I have that tiny paperback sitting here in from of me next to the huge 'Bag of Bones' I'm getting ready to jump into next :)

Our Mods take care of trolls right quick. :love_heart:And thankya, mods.

One sneaks through now and then, but this is SKMB. Just a bunch of goofy people who admire Sai King.

Relax. This is a good place.
