WOW!

that movie was fecking EPIC!
the director nailed it with the hat tip to sergio , such a beautiful score...and Clints cameo as Cort- what a delight!
i must say that i missed most of the little Sisters due to my eyes weeping so hard with joy, and the appearance of Oy so early on on the beach of the western sea was a breath of fresh air to the story.
i am so glad we got a sneak preview of the doors in the next chapter - to see a glimpse of 'jessie pinkman' cast in the role we all want to see him in, has eased my concerns.

magnificent sai, truly magnificent.

After much struggling with whether I'll like the casting or story line.....I've made plans to see the film tomorrow after work.
The trailer looks intriguing, so I figure it'll be a good choice for an afternoon matinee. A special treat for me will be that my daughter has agreed to join me.
I guess you could say I've moved from the never in a million years column, to the almost excited column.

i really hope it's a treat sunny- and delivers at least a few images of what we imagined on the quest. i just want a nod my way, as a constant reader, something, a hidden gem, that can be taken away and remembered.

the twirl of an agitated finger, the tap of a forehead, the occasional cry pardon, something familiar, anything.

While I hope you'll still like the movie, Sheemie's post had nothing to do with what actually happens in the film. ;)

...in other worlds than these.:facepalm_smiley:

say sorry

When you figure out how to get there, let us know.

Oh man.:a11: I wish I could blame the lack of coffee, but by 7am I'm pretty jazzed up. I like to think I'm pretty savvy, but alas, methinks I'm pretty gullible. But that's OK - the world needs more believers, right?

I'm still hoping for the best on the movie. I've got all kinds of hopes in my heart.:love_heart:

Grrrr that UK website smacked me with a video that had the volume ON as soon as I clicked to it. I closed the page right back out again without reading the article. Nor will I until I get to where the computer has AdBlock Plus on it .. or the Mozilla equivalent ....

Horrible, horrible film. I try to find good in every movie but this one was tough. It's funny how the big concern was about who was playing Roland, when that didn't matter at all with the final cut. The story itself was just a jumbled mess. Jumping back and forth, piecing together scenes from various books. I can see people who didn't know about the story scratching their heads in total confusion.

Good post SHEEMIEE! I heard there is an underground version made with papier mache' puppets and sets. I'll have to slide downtown after midnight and hopefully trip over it or be pointed further down the road. I'm lying about this though.
