I started watching the very first episode but there was a dog in the street that looked like it had been hit by a car. I had to quit watching. If you tell me the dog's ok maybe I could try it again!
Ooo. Can't tell you that. But, you never ever see the dog. Not at all. Keep watching. This scene sets the tone for how ruthless this guy can be. How he justifies things in his mind.

Man, thought I was watching a republican in that opening scene. :)

First one was pretty good. Will have to watch more.

Omigod, this is television crack for me. I only started watching three nights ago and could not *wait* for the next disc to arrive!

No one can wring sarcasm out of script like Kevin Spacey. He is fascinating to watch and the plot lines are terrific.
I love that his initials are F.U. heh heh heh heh

It has been quite a ride watching this show thus far. I was born in Washington, D.C. and visited once or twice a year until I was in college. My stepmonster actually pulled some strings to get me an internship at the Washington Post when I was 17. I didn't go out there that summer, and have always wondered how my life might have turned out if I did. When all is said and done, I definitely am not, nor ever have been, ruthless enough to "make it" in a cut-throat environment...I fold under pressure. :(

Where are you at? I finished the season. And I'm ready to move on with more! I don't want to wait. Doug is... just wow. And how it ended, I'm curious how that's going to play out next season.
I'm on Season 3 ep. 11 (chapter 37) - two left. I have been good about pacing myself, although I don't think this season is as good as the first two. So far, Doug has been the most interesting...

Anyone watching the new season just put on Netflix? The opening scene to this season was brutal. This show is so well written and acted. I hate politics, but this is one of my most favorite shows ever.
