I've read BoB at least four times and the DT series only once. I'm not coming up with the connection either.

Connection to the Dark Tower SeriesEdit
Bag of Bones features a house named Sara Laughs. This house is the Twinner of Cara Laughs, the house on Turtleback Lane that was the center of the walk-in activity. By extension, Mike Noonan is also the Twinner of Stephen King, both being writers who own a summer house name Sara/Cara Laughs.

The number 19 is used various times.

Thanks, Spidey! I remember all those things about BoB, but not The Gunslinger. :a11:

if it were me, i wouldn't break up the main series that much. i actually read a lot of the side novels before i ever read the dark tower series, and i didn't lose anything from it. if anything i'd say read the dark tower novels, read the side books, and then circle back around and re-read the dark tower, because you'll spot a few more things this way. you don't really need the side novels to get what's going on in the dark tower.

ETA: wind through the keyhole does take place sort of mid journey, so that one would be fine to read sort of in the middle like that.

Do you know what? I think that you are totally right "recitador", I'm thinking now that should be better I get the DT to read and stop to think about other connections books, at least just for now. Because on this way (reading just DT and few book in parallel as "The Stand" that is very important), I can have a good experience with DT, right? Otherwise I can get tired to read many books together DT, and DT can get bored for me maybe. Many thanks for the advice "recitador"!!!

Here is one possible map of connections:

"Spideyman", many thanks for this map. I realized that before when you post it here in the fisrt time, very cool.

Guys, just to make sure. Have any official Stephen King's order about this Reading? Regarding DT? As I said before, I will not read in the order, just to avoid get tired the DT, but I would like to know if have any official order to read those books.

No official order that I am aware of.
I read the journey as it was published, and taken the journey many times since.

I think you will not tire if you read them one after the other. The Dark Tower is a journey, not just books. Each one continues the story, quest, journey. You become one with the characters. You become part of the journey.
Think of the books as parts of the whole. Read the flow of the story book after book.
Many of us had to wait for each part. To be able to read each as a complete journey is life changing. Just my thoughts. Enjoy!!

Thanks "Spideyman", very kind of you, thanks for share your opinion.

When you said "I think you will not tire if you read them one after the other." You mean read only the Dark Tower? Or even all conecctions as that books that I mentioned before Bag of Bones, Dragon Eyes (all the other books that have connection with the Dark Tower)?

I meant to read only the Dark Tower books. My thinking is that it is a continuous journey, you finish The Gunslinger and proceed, go to, The Drawing of the Three and so forth. Think of it as binge watching a TV series (to view an entire season of the shows one after another over a period of time). The books are one story. Yes, the other books do have connections. Having read as published, as well as re reading the entire series as one story, personally, I enjoyed it more reading each DT book one after the other. You will find reading the connections, after completing the DT books, as little treats. Meeting familiar characters, seeing the connection. That is just may way of looking at it.
Others may feel the connection books should be read in- between the DT books. Just giving you my thoughts.

Awesome "Spideyman"! Many thanks again about your thinking. Now I'm pretty sure that I will enjoy in this moment DT books, instead of reading other connections, I'll let the connections for later. You "Spideyman" and "recitador" help me a lot to decide how enjoy better DT. I'm really grateful for this.
