No actual weapon that I can recall - she was pretty brave, but the only weapon I remember was the bolt gun carried by Mike.

I saw the movie tonight in IMAX - enjoyed it very much!

i keep seeing people on all these sites that are making articles about easter eggs saying that the freese's tshirt worn by richie is a reference to the freese's department store in bangor and not the one in the book that played a specific role of one of richie's bowers encounters. they're killing me.

The Sunday crowd was bigger, I got more of a theatre experience...but at one point, when everything went quiet, we heard a very young kid voice ask, "Is this the clown movie?" And my son (14) whispered, "Who'd bring a little kid to this movie?"

Eeps, who indeed?
Probably the same woman that took two kids a boy of 4 and a girl of 2, to the theater to see Se7en (the Brad Pitt movie). I could not believe it!

So almost $200 million total in three (or four if your city started showing it on Thursday) days. Awesome!!

WB damn well better spring more money for the sequel's budget; they've no excuse now. Plus some nice fat bonuses to the Muschiettis, cause they sure deserve it. And Andres has already gone on record that he is thinking about Jessica Chastain for the sequel. Oh yeah.

I didn't know cars still had antennas.......
We didn't get balloons, but I got really cool collectible tickets.

Sure they do. Have antennas, cars do. Old jalopys like mine, a'yuh.

I'm gonna put the sorry, deflated red balloon on the King shelf, maybe cram it between a couple heavy hardbacks. Keep it always; a memento of one of the few times Hollywood managed to get a King flick right; and of the time some psycho tied balloons to the cars in the Showland parking lot.
