I have two. First and foremost is chapter 26, when it describes everything going to hell in a hand basket. I especially enjoyed the radio transcripts and intercepts. I listen to this chapter almost daily when I am trying to sleep.

If not that one, then the chapter where Stu and Glen meet. I absolutely love Mr. Bateman. And I wanna smack Stu every time he calls Glen "Baldy". What a jerk.

There are so many but I like the chapter in which Nick meets Tom in May, Oklahoma.

I liked that one hugely. I was so disgusted with Nick when he sent Tom to Las Vegas. And I was appalled when he tinkered with his subconscious mind. And to what end? The spies seemed necessary on the surface, but all that happened was that two amazing characters died for nothing and Tom grew a beard.

I know this is just a book, but some are written so damned well that you find a ... bonding (for lack of better term) and empathy for characters that are well-written. Sadie in 12-22-63 is a perfect case in point.
