What kind of extra's are there? Amazon lists nothing, not even anything about deleted scenes.

Whole bunch of stuff...
Deleted Scenes
Blooper Reel
A Look Through the Keyhole
Five Featurettes
“Last Time Around”
“The World Has Moved On…”
“The Man in Black”
“The Gunslinger in Action”
“Stephen King Inspirations”....

...subtitles in various languages, I think there is "dubbed" feature on it too, didn`t try that, though...

but I`ve only watched the movie so far, didn`t have time to go through the rest...

No, the Everglades flick.

When I first saw your post, I thought you meant this movie I saw on TCM.

It has similarities, but was much older. Walter Brennan plays sort of niceguy escaped convict (lol). It was good! Really worth watching. In the clip you might notice a young John Carradine. Probably near the time of Grapes of Wrath. Wow, hard the believe Christopher Plummer was once an 'exciting new find'! This must have been before Sound of Music. He's been playing old guys for decades. This clip makes it out to be On The Waterfront in the swamp!

Thanks for that! I feel justified to go completely mental now.

You said bum instead of the more apt, butt, tail, money-maker, or Bisquick Pancake, so I'm assuming you live North of the Mason/Dixon line. So maybe it's subtleties were lost in translation? I sure hope so. Was it less good or better in your opinion than say, the Weekend at Bernie's films? Mannequin 2? Breakin' 2, Electric Boogaloo?
More like the other side of the Atlantic - not everyone's from the USA, you know! :D I felt bum was every bit as apt, certainly as apt as Bisquick Pancake which, since I have no idea what it means, hardly seems very apt at all.

And opinions are like bums (or butts, tails, money-makers and, presumably, Bisquick Pancakes) - everyone's got one, and no-one's has any more (or less) significance than anyone else's. I assume you got more out of BR2049 than I did, and that's great. Doesn't change my opinion of it being dreary, overlong, narratively obscure, and with a score to give you earache. There are those who think it was wonderful. Not me. And I'm not alone. Neither are you. Like I said, we all have bums.

It never occurred to me to compare to any of those other films, the only one of which I have seen is the original Weekend At Bernie's. To be perfectly frank, that entertained me a great deal more than BR2049 (I thought Terry Kiser was brilliant).

Wayne's World 2. I'm not ashamed. Sometimes you just need 90 minutes of mindless humor.

I just watch the Babysitter with my son off of Netflix. I thought it was good and he like it to. Good old horror...Later tonight just for me a Cure for Wellness

Now for the Cure for Wellness. It was not that bad at all. I like it a lot. However you got to go in with a open mind. It got some old story twists in it just wrapped up in a new way. Really it not that gory it got only two parts in it that are gory, both are short. for 2 hour and 35 minute movie that not bad. It sort of the type of movie your either going to enjoy or hate.

I got to see the updated The Beguiled, the original being my favorite Clint Eastwood movie.

This was absolutely horrible. They took a brilliant movie and destroyed it. Lots of big names in this, but I was seriously wounded and insulted by the remake.

This movie was set during the civil war, but the remake sanitized it for today's politically correct audience. While some like to debate that if we tear down statues of confederate nitwits, we should censor books and movies that cover the same topic (and other topics that are not acceptable in this day and age) -- these are not the same thing and this is NOT the place to debate that. Hot Topic for sure.

I will say, these things are very different and I felt the brutality of the time period that was in the first movie was totally lost in the second. The urgency and tension, gone. Along with some other questionable scenes regarding other hot button topics that made the first movie so good and commanded your attention.

A good movie challenges you and makes you feel something. Anger, disgust, happiness, love, caring, hate etc... This remake made me feel nothing but boredom.
