Hi all... Im glad tobe a part of the forum here.
I love the Stand. My problem is that the current edition has the blue cover with the guy that has a bullet in his teeth.
Thats the one I am reading now.
My problem is the type font is very small and difficult to read.

Do you see the current edition od IT? the book is like a deluxe volume, big, with big type font easy to read.
Why cant they do this with the Stand????

Who do we write to about this?
Are there any larger print editions available? Not interested in Kindle.

Thanks for any info!

I had to read 'Shardik' with a magnifying glass. It was difficult to get used to at the start but well worth the effort. It was one of those round glass magnifiers. I think I may invest in one of those magnifiers that are shaped like a book page. We'll see though. 'Shardik' was my first challenge where the dollar store reading glasses didn't come through for me. Maybe I should finally clean those damn things.

If I have to read legal papers, or a bill, I will use a magnifying glass. But reading for pleasure? No. Thats not pleasure. I already wear glasses.
I dont like Kindle because I usually make notes in books as I read them.
With a popular author like King, and with older classics, the publishers often do not care about type size because they are selling a famous book.
They are more concerned with saving paper.
A lot of famous books have small print, e.g. Dover classics. You have to look for premium versions, e.g. Penguin deluxe classics.
I have a few books now I wish I could read but just cannot get through them because of small type. When I say small Im talking about smaller than maybe 8.5 type set.
The type in the "new" Stand is probably 7 point.

According to my Google search, it is possible to take notes while you're reading on a Kindle.

Edit: Also possible if you're using an iPad with the Kindle App.

Rosario DiPeri would something like this link be helpful. I do not see The Stand listed.
