I just finished reading It for the first time. However, I seem to have missed a bit, possibly due to a mishap with my bookmark.
Specifically I seem to have skipped the part where Tom kidnaps Audra.
I got to the part where he encounters her, but after that, no more.

Could someone please point me to the chapter and preferably section where this occurs?

It's implied what comes after this point.
The same way it's implied what Tom intends after he hears the voice coming from the balloon telling him what to do.
yes, what doc said. the details of their encounter are never shown, just get the mention of when they got to Its lair, and the evidence of audra's presence bill found along the way.
There was a 147 page section of the book that detailed those events that Steve was asked to trim from the book so he had to write in the 'implications' of those events. I have a copy of the original 1,800 page uncorrected proof. If you believe that then I have a bridge and some land in Florida that I'd like to sell you.......;;D

I actually believed you, lol. Thought you were talking about the Cemetery Dance edition. :facepalm_smiley:
(Maybe not the 147 pages part, but, you know)

When I read your post carefully I realize I'm an idiot. Ha. Cemetery Dance wouldn't publish an uncorrected version...hey, does your offer still stand on that Florida land?
