I love the idea of that p ink Kindle. I know I'd be tempted to abuse it. I was, at one time very opposed to the idea of e readers. Now I am an enthusiastic e reader. So the idea of carrying one for spite one I understand. I loved this story and the ripples. A theme SK has explored before and one I enjoy myself.

Liked it. Always good to see connections. This one had more than a few.

Cortland. Eddyville. (hee) Yellow coats with eye buttons. Bird heads. Heck, even the Tower itself. And I probably missed some.
Actually, Eddyville is a real town very near where I live in KY. All the other towns he mentioned are real too. It was so weird to read about Wesley going to all those towns I've been to and know quite well.

A great story. Stephen take us, in a few pages we are travelling with 1 2 3 characters, a big density concentrated in a short story, with this impression that a novel could have been written with this. (sorry for my English, je suis Francais!).

...I feel ya man on the ultimate untold portion, but still-I was just tickled with a rare King "happy ending"...

This was my biggest take from this story. When It ended I said to myself "really" and not so much in a bad way, I was just surprised at the "Happy Ending" part myself. I of course enjoyed the countless references to the DT and everything involved with that.

Loved this story. Anything with DT references in it gets me going.
