This is my first reply as a new member.
9th grade for me, social studies, first class after lunch. The teacher was very distraught, tearful, as he gave us the news. The surreal part was walking home. We had to go through downtown, about 2:00 I guess, and it was a ghost town. Stores closed, no traffic, almost scary.

Hi r4smith - have you read 11/22/63?

If so, what did you think of it?

I was born in 1953 , so i clearly remember all . Having lived in Dallas almost all of my 66 years, i was ten on the day President Kennedy
came to Dallas .Having been somewhat of a sickly kid in my early years, this was one of the days i had a bad spell of asthma , and was
allowed to stay at home . With the black&white t.v going i remember all that was televised , and my father calling my mom to make sure
she new of all that was happening .
Also had uncle who was a projectionist at the Texas Theater were Lee Harvey Oswald fled to after his terrible deed was done .
