Oh dear.

I went to buy the backing for a stocking. Ended up buying stuff that’s intended for drapery. Beautiful, soft, doesn’t fray.

And strong enough I think it might bend my needles.

I sew these stockings by hand. When I use a machine they bunch along the inside. And then I hand sew the cording around.

Thanks, :) I probably should post some updates. But the one I’m working on tonight is pinned, inside out, so not much to look at.

BTW, I found one piece of material that I can use. I do not have the time to wrestle with tough stuff.
