I tried a new eyedrop last week. It is called Systane. There were several varieties but the one I bought says Complete Optimal Dry Eye Relief.

Oh my eyes feel amazing now. It really is something when you get so used to something that relief from it smacks you upside the head at random moments when you find something that works.

And my eyes look better too. I cannot use Visine or the like because the active ingredient gives me migraines. But just the relief from the dryness has helped with the redness in my eyes. Bonus for sure. When I went in for my doctor appointment a couple weeks ago the first thing the nurse asked me was what was wrong with my eyes. Hurt my feelings a bit. But again, was so used to them looking bad I didn't notice how bad they really looked.

Just one of those little things to be grateful for. :)
Thankful you found something that help.

Thanks for the reminder - I just put a couple of drops in each eye - they are a bit expensive but well worth it - glad to hear you found relief for your dry eyes!

That's great news. I'm glad you won't have to deal with that anymore. It's funny what we all get "used to".

Something good happened today. I got a message from twitter that an account I reported has been closed as it violates their rules.

Someone was using a picture of a woman as their profile picture. A picture that I recognized from the news. This woman’s 3 children and her father were killed by a drunk driver. The person was replying on tweets and using a # free{name of drunk driver}. With the mom’s picture as their profile pic.

Literally made me feel ill when I saw it.

I’m glad they closed him down,

I'm happy because I decided to sleep in a bit for a change and catch up on some sleep.

Lately I have been waking up automatically around 7 or 7:15 a.m. Today I awoke around 6:15 and then decided to go back to sleep. I slept until almost 11:30! I guess sometimes your body just needs to get more rest and today was one of those days :rugby:
