...I do truly understand, and thought she had already walked the thin gray line....with the martial arts, she's gold......yeah, she had this career when she was single and no kids. She is a tough one. She was second in the state in Tai Kwon Do at one time. Just worry as she lives in another state.
I will keep her in my thoughts, Linda. She'll be alright.Sorry I forgot to look. Been bumming . Oldest daughter got the job in the correction center. Which she is good at. But I worry as a mom.
Beautiful cover! I hope I can find this on the secondary market as I missed out on ordering it from CD.This arrived on Friday night...signed limited edition!

It wasn't! I'm wondering what happened there. I read the ARC and don't remember anything Glenn is quoted as saying.
He might not have his own interview section, but maybe in the finished copy he is quoted in there somewhere? I don't know. Too bad really. I would've really liked to hear his journey with our scribe.
Thank you so much for getting back to us on this. I'm headed to my book now!Hi there - I'm Andy Burns, author of This Dark Chest of Wonders. I just wanted to let you know that I did talk to Glenn via email for the book, and he's quoted on page 54 regarding illustrating The Dark Man.
Hope you all enjoy the book!
Glad to see Glenn's contribution. I did enjoy your book. It was approachable information. In no way text booky tedious. Hi Dana (and everyone)!
First of all, thank you much for the kind words about the book. As you can tell from reading it, I'm a Constant Reader like everyone here, and I wrote this book for folks just like us. I'm glad you found it approachable - that was my hope.
As for the artwork, Cemetery Dance chose Vincent as the artist, and asked me if I had any suggestions. I took a look at Vincent's work and shared a few thoughts:
- Something similar to Vincent's The End of the World or Abandoned paintings on his website (I've attached the images so you can take a look)
- An interpretation of Randall Flagg, perhaps his arms outstretched
- A burning Las Vegas
I was absolutely blown away with what Vincent came up with, beyond my wildest expectations.
If you love the cover, you can order prints from Vincent's website - I'm going to, even though my daughter says "it's freaky"
It is freaky but absolutely perfect. The saturated colors -- golds and fire oranges, just a beautiful representation of what is inside.Hi Dana (and everyone)!

....glad to meet ya man!....just received the book and look forward to reading it....Glenn is a winner, very much enjoyed meeting him last Summer.....just a regular Joe with an uncanny talent of transmogrifying the word to the image.....Hi there - I'm Andy Burns, author of This Dark Chest of Wonders.
