I always loved Pet Sematary, Needful Things and my new favorites are Elevation and The Outsider. Stephen King will always be my number 1 favorite author of all time. I cannot wait to finish The Outsider and read The Institute when it's released. Which Stephen King Book is your favorite?

On the whole I tend to like the early books the best, from Carrie to Misery. From Tommyknockers on I feel they became more mixed in quality, although Gerald's Game is a favourite and The Green Mile is great too,

With the short stories I like Night Shift the most, but some of my favourites, like Gramma and The Raft are in Skeleton Crew too. I thought Nightmares and Dreamscapes was a step down from those first two collections, and I liked Everything's Eventual even less (apart from the Roland story which was terrific). But I liked Just After Sunset more than Everything's Eventual, especially the story N. And I like Bazaar of Bad Dreams even more than Just After Sunset. So it seems to go up and down.

There are stories I like and dislike in all those collections.I love Nightmares and Dreamscapes in general. Everythings Eventual is a favorite. Bazaar of Bad Dreams is very consistent with the excellent quality of the stories throughout.
