Led Zepplin, probably the best hard rock band ever, IMO. Love the Stones and Beatles, but Zep took it further. And they ticked off my 'rents LOL
Now now...

Bad enough someone put the Doors in poll on thread titled The Beatles or Rolling Stones but y'all can't be throwing other groups in here...

This is anarchy!!! :Oo:

By the way my 4.3% is really standing out ain't it?

The doctor who treated John Lennon at the emergency room when he got rushed in was still working there in 2011. A friend of mine, Michael, he left Australian and lived over in England from 1966-1978. He is a mad Beatles fan. He had a girlfriend in England and she put a picture of Robert Plant above their bed and he got angry because Plant was wearing those tight jeans. Those pictorial history books are pretty good, I read about half of the Led Zeppelin. Michael, he had this multi-part biographical thing of the Beatles that went into like every recording session, etc. Michael came from a Catholic family of six sons and he was the one who was supposed to become a priest.

Yeah but this is just for The beatles and The Stones (And The Doors because hahah silly me added a third option). I like Led Zeppelin but they plagiarized too much, and although you could argue other bands are guilty of a little plagiarism to some degree, Led Zeppelin just had it coming. They are talented musicians and I enjoy their music, but if they had simply gotten permission to use some of the songs they stole instead of claiming ownership of them, they wouldn’t be in controversial legal trouble like they end up in.

Actually I’m building up an immunity to salt so that way when we run out of clean water due to our destroyed planet I can easily drink sea water no-problemo.
Well if planet is destroyed sea water might not be that great either???

It's cool I might save up for a desalination device but evolution is another way to go I guess...:a11:

This century is just an exciting race to see what will cause the next great extinction first. Last time I checked there’s been 5 (I think) already. Global Warming seems to have control of the board right now, we should probably stop that.

Of course regardless of what happens there will be survival-fit species who will repopulate the Earth. Natural Selection is cool like that.

Far Away Eyes...

DJ for some reason I think this one fits you perfectly...
I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late
And I thought by the time I got there she'd be off
She'd be off with the nearest truck driver she could find
Much to my surprise
, there she was sittin' in the corner

A little bleary, worse for wear and tear
Was a girl with far away eyes

I'm not quite sure what to think about this fitting me perfectly.

Well the preacher kept right on saying that all I had to do was send
Ten dollars to the church of the sacred bleeding heart of Jesus
Located somewhere in Los Angeles, California
And next week they'd say my prayer on the radio
And all my dreams would come true
So I did, the next week, I got a prayer with a girl
Well, you know what kind of eyes she got
So if you're down on your luck
I know you all sympathize
Find a girl with far away eyes
And if you're downright disgusted
And life ain't worth a dime
Get a girl with far away eyes

That's my take anyway...:D

That sounds much nicer than me hooking up with the truckers all torn up from the floor up.
