Nice blog.We love the west of Ireland. Make sure you see the Burren. Rock of Cashel. Remeber that distances take longer than you think. My husband has a blog called irelandinruins. These are places that are free to see.All of the places on the blog have been visited by one, two or all three of us. The pictures are our own. Most of them have road directions. Let me know how you get on.
...stop!....you are much loved here and especially by myself and my crew....life happens, never apologize...
I am happy 'cause I got a letter in the mail.
Not the kind on my computer; this arrived by snail.
"Letter" doesn't do it justice... It was more a gift.
Envelope's a goshdarn work of art... You get the drift?
Inside was a card, a letter, gift and photograph
(Taken at the King Kon of me and my better half)
All the way from Canada to brighten up my day.
Neesy , somehow, "thank you" doesn't seem enough to say.
There you are with worries of your own about your spouse
While I sit on my fat butt and mope around the house.
That's the problem... My ex-Catholic guilt is kicking in.
Feels like I abandoned tet-mates. That's a mortal sin.
Didn't wish a "Happy Birthday" to a lot of friends.
Wasn't here to comfort when a loved one's journey ends.
Missed the stories and the jokes and hadn't heard the news
That the Board is closing down for good... Here come the blues.
He was a little before my time. You're more the Bobby Sherman type of girl, eh?
Then it’s a good thing I didn’t say William Tecumseh Sherman. He was a little before my time.

What?! You actually went out and got some! Good for you - the doctor I saw told me he has seen diabetic foot ulcers cured by the application of the CBD oil.Either the CBD oil or something seems to be working.
Is that really doowopgirl 's Gerry in the picture? He looks like a real bad ass! Hubba Hubba! Thanks for that! I'm sharing this with my mom, too!
Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I (and Neesy) live, is up to it's 15th homicide so far this year. That's a bit high for my liking.

Wow... that is high. That is cool you live in the same city. Do you both get together
Congratulations!I am happy today as I have a job, after being unemployed for like almost a year with a brief Christmas job..
And I love my cat, but upset she broke one of my vintage 1980’s care bear trinkets but I will try and repair

Mostly it seems to be people who are p*ssed off at each other rather than some random murder, still I think maybe some gang activity has been happening lately (not sure)
No - we are afraid we might get murdered!
(but seriously I did meet mal's wife Joyce once when she was in hospital. We do live on opposite sides of the city)
...otherwise I would probably be over there asking to borrow a cup of sugar
Great News
I'm not telling him that. His head is big enough, but thanksIs that really doowopgirl 's Gerry in the picture? He looks like a real bad ass! Hubba Hubba!
Nice blog.
I have a photograph of St. Kevin's Church in Glendalough hanging in my bedroom. My brother took the picture when he biked across Ireland.
I also have a signed print hanging in my dining room of this graveyard in Ireland my sister-in-law painted. My aunt from Ireland was going to get one but decided against it as having artwork of a graveyard should never be hung in a home... according to her. Glendalough is one of my favorite places to visit and it's not far from here. Beautiful in the summer or winter. In the summer you get an ice cream van. Personally I'd put the atrwork up anyway.
You're a poet. Excellent. Hopefully the Irish landscape will inspire you to more!
Thank you doowopgirl . That blog's exactly what we need.
Photographs are beautiful! I've had a chance to read
2 or 3 descriptions with directions so precise
We won't even need to use our GPS device.
Doowopguy's included legends, local history;
His blog's sure to help us choose the ruins we must see.
Plan to cruise the Aran Isles and see the Cliffs of Moher...
Thankfully, my sister's driving this entire tour.
She has driven on the left before (though not that much)
But the crucial factor is that she can drive a clutch.
It's been over 30 years since I attempted that.
Wasn't very good back then unless the roads were flat.
Seems to me that Irish cliffs are not the place to try
Brushing up on rusty skills... We're not prepared to die.
Plus, I've heard some country roads, though quaint, are kinda tight
Never mind remembering to NOT drive on the right.
