The Boston Bruins are up 3 games to none over the Carolina Hurricanes in the Conference Finals. One more win to go to get to the Stanley Cup Finals!
Yep...

High for Saturday is forecast to be around 90...

Good luck to Bruins...

Canes had a good run but the ice is melting beneath them...

As always Spidey thanks for the kind words...

Almost forgot, went to the heart doctor for my two year check up on May 6th...

BP great, want me to come back in mid June to check cholesterol, which has NEVER been high...

Stepped on scales for him and got scolded like a toddler...

Had gained two pounds in a year...TWO POUNDS!!!

Did make him laugh though. Appointment was 8:15 AM...

Told him hadn't had time for my daily constitutional...If he would excuse me for about five minutes those two pounds would disappear...

It does have some stunning scenery
Did coming back to the US feel funny to you last summer? How many years have you been in Ireland now? My Mom tried to go back to Scotland in the 70s but as she had been in Canada since 1946 she found too much had changed. They had been thinking about retiring over there.

Say hi to Gerry!
[hope I spelled that right]

It really didn't feel weird at all. I'm a citizen of the world now! I expected all my Americanisms to come flooding back, but they didn't. I found myself having to remember the difference between fries and chips and crisps. Loved it though.

Somewhere over the rainbow
It does have some stunning scenery
Such a trip in Ireland we had... 'twas, simply, grand!
Saw your stunning scenery. Did not do all we'd planned.
Didn't matter; what we saw still takes my breath away.
Glad I'm home but 10 days wasn't long enough a stay.

If you go to Ireland and plan to rent a car
Make sure that you bring along a racing superstar...
Which we did. My sister handled driving like a pro.
All I did was program in which way we ought to go.

Narrow, winding, country roads with speeds I thought insane;
80 KPH along a graveled, sheep-filled lane,
Stone wall to the left of you - another on the right...
2 way traffic where just one car found the passage tight.

That is not to mention "roads" that run along a cliff.
Dingle Bay was beautiful but I was frightened stiff,
Looking out my window at a fall to certain death...
We drove that entire loop with me holding my breath.

Ruins dot the patchwork fields of 40 shades of green;
Herds of cows and flocks of sheep with stone walls in between.
Driving into villages with cottages so quaint;
Seemingly competing for the brightest shade of paint.

Seaside towns, a haunted pub, and lots of Guinness stout,
Charging cattle on a Plains of Cashel walk-about.
Met so many friendly people; saw a bit of sun.
I would recommend a trip like this to anyone.
