I own a beautiful copy of this book but have not read it so don't have any expectations. I'm coming to this as a clean slate having no idea what the story is even about. So, I'm enjoying it a lot and I see that Joe is the executive producer so I'm hoping that means he has greater control over what is presented. That it's being created exactly how he wants it to be.

An author's work is art. So it is my hope that what we are getting in the series is exactly what Joe wants us to see and to experience.

I own this edition of the book, signed by both author and artist and numbered. I wonder if it's worth anything? ha!

I'm a bit surprised at the lackluster response to this show which is better than I expected. I wasn't a huge fan of the book but a lot of the concepts have translated well to this show. And I really like some of the actors who look like real people instead of Hollywood's version of how people look.
