Hey, I am happy to join the Stephen King board as I have always wanted to join but never joined and only read posts which is sad considering he is my favorite author and i only have 1 friend who reads his books. It's great to join the board as I can talk to other King fans about his works and receive suggestions or get clarifications. So far i have read Pet Semetary, The Shining, Salem's Lot, Carrie, The Long Walk, IT, Different Seasons (all 4 novellas) and Full Dark, No Stars (all 4 novellas). Pet Semetary has been my favorite so far but I have enjoyed them all (although I am not as fond on Salem's Lot as many King fans, maybe I just need to read it again). I am currently reading Misery and debating on which book I should read next (The Running Man, The Outsider, Delores Claiborne, The Dead Zone or Cujo...I know I debate between a lot of books haha). I look forward to many fun posts and taking all your suggestions while adding some opinions of my own.

I was thinking the same for Cujo based on some things I have read online but without spoilers, why does Cujo get poor reviews and especially in comparison to his other books. I don't know why it gets poor reviews but many also say to read that.
I'm not sure why it gets poor reviews, maybe it's slow pace is a put off for some people, or the fact it's not a supernatural tale. Maybe people weren't ready for a rabid dog story after his supernatural tales struck such a chord with them. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

...and considering he doesn't remember writing it....
