"1/4 The Secret World Of Lewis Carrol" Art Documentaries on Youtube.

The Velvet Claw ------ The history/evolution of the predator. All originally evolved from the cat, the very first predator mammal. Then branched off in two distinct directions : Cat and dog. Bears fall in along thedogside and if I remember correctly, wolverines, badgers, weasels and the like are on the cat side. Very interesting documentary, I think I first saw it on PBS, but may have been some other cable channel.
I thought of this one after reading Kurbin has studied animal anthropology.
Really enjoy things about the animal world.
I find the evolution of the horse to be quite fascinating too. Need to look something up on that subject.
A really good one I saw on youtube about a year ago was "She-wolf", I think it was a National Geographic production.
Takes place in Yellowstone. I want to see more on the Buffalo/American Bison as well.

I like documentaries of different kinds, favorites are about art, ancient civilizations, evolution/adaption, architecture.
Crime and forensic doc's are really interesting too.

You're doing a lot better than I am. I get inspired and uninspired very quickly. I have the attention span, motivation (and metabolism) of a sea slug. :a11:

I hope Netflix continues this series!
Okay Morgan. 6 weeks. It took me 6 weeks to clean my garage.

I didn't organize the chaos, I didn't shuffle boxes around. I opened every single box. And when I opened it, I didn't just look and shut it back up. I emptied every single box. I touched every single thing in my garage.

The space looks amazing now. I donated, shredded, trashed, passed onto family -- things that have been stored in my garage for years. Things we forgot we had. So why store them? Why keep this stuff? I am not a Walmart. Keeping things stocked for future use, but then we don't use it because we don't remember we bought it.

The tools I found was shocking. Apparently when my husband could not find a lug nut set, he went and bought another. I have lug nuts coming out of my azz.

Everything got cleaned, organized and labeled. I have before and after photos that would blow you away, but not posting them as too much personal in those images. I went from Chaos to Zen in 6 weeks. It was hard work. But I needed to do it. I needed to be organized. How selfish would it have been of me to leave this mess for my kids to have to deal with when I die? I bought the stuff. It was my responsibility to deal with it.

We went from a small obstacle course walkway from the garage door to the house door. Now, I could easily get my car in there and have lots of room to dance!

My kid opened the door to look when it was all finished and said, "Wow, I wonder if we could get some gym equipment?" I screamed. Yes, I screamed,

"F*** NO!"

thank you. I am quite proud of myself.
You BETTER be ;)
Hey! I seriously know that good feeling. sigh.........I've had experience living with a couple of problem pack-rats in the past. It was always me that had to go and thin out the accumulations and get rid of all that was merely junk and not necessary to our survival. Caught hell over it, but everything settles down and is better eventually. :)

Thankee Dana :)

Not a documentary exactly, but a cool vid on youtube by WIRED 2 months ago:
"Former CIA Chief of Disguise breaks down 30 spy scenes from film and TV."

Pretty cool find.
Been watching/listening to that while messin' around the house.
I really like the mention of the movie "Argos".
I remember when that happened, me and mom were talking about (not too long ago) about how we saw billboards in Nebraska saying only:
"Thankyou Canada"
'lol, I'm thinking I'm crossing the thread beams here, because I could post in "Random...", "Movies" ....etc....
I had occasion to tell my cub about that and other things,
when he was 11 he used to insist on calling Canada, "CANADIA!" because they're CANADIANS! Long story. He was a headstrong, rambunctious handful! :D
I told him he needed to remember that it was CANATA first!
"CANATA" definition: -----When the French and other Europeans first came to far Northern America, they asked the Indigenous/FirstNations: "What is this land called?" they native residents responded "Canata". That is according to refefence material I have read in the past.
My Canadian friends correct me if I am in error. :)

I watched the first 30 minutes or so of that Flat Earth Documentary on Netflix. Good laugh, the best part is how they treat Neil Degrasse Tyson as some Voldemort-ish “He who shall not be named” type character. If anything it’s interesting to see how these people think

"Think" is not in the flat earther vocabulary. It's too round of a word.......

Dana Jean Good for you! You should be proud. Give yourself a pat on the back from me too! :love_heart:

I needed to see this today. I looked around my bedroom this morning and almost cried. So much clutter and I never know where to start. It's too overwhelming and I just give up before trying. Thank you for reminding me that it's a PROCESS. I'm not going to finish in a day. If I can just set aside even a half hour daily for organizing, I think I could get in a good head space about these daunting tasks. I'm moving again, so it's a great time to focus on downsizing.

Seriously, major congrats to you!

THanks! You can do it too. Rome was not built in 5 weeks. It was 6.
