You know you are a constant reader when someone says something disparaging about Stephen King and his work and you launch into your own version of The Bangorburg Address:

Four score and seven years ago (or whatever that would be) our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new author, conceived in a library, and dedicated to the proposition that not all writers are created equal. And STFU if you haven't read his books. Your opinion means nothing to me if you haven't read a good sampling of his work. And YES, Stephen King wrote The Shining. Why don't you know this? Dumba**.

(Sorry, vietnam flashback to a conversation I had with my library's information desk a couple days ago.)
This is my favorite one

You are a SKCR if you proselytize all of your friends and the people around you to read his works.
OR
You are a SKCR if you talk about, list facts about, and read out loud about Our Lord Stephen King so much to your parents that they abandon you on the side of the road (with some SK to keep you company.)

You hear a noise of screeching birds, and although you know they are swifts, your first thought is "The sparrows are flying again."
Nice to see you again!

Thanks!
I think it's been a year since last time.
In case you haven't noticed yet, the Board is only open Tuesday through Thursday now

(and it is closing in the summer of 2020, permanently)

Still - it's nice that we can still post here now - Marsha is winding things up in preparation for retirement :teapot:

That's a long time!

Not a year without a post, as I sometimes say.

I know, I have been reading the forums quite often, but haven't had time to post. The announcement (about 2020) was one of those moments, when you notice time is running fast.

Life gets busy sometime that's for sure - still - really good to see you back!
