Hey, thank you all! Honestly I was quite scared, because my experiences in making Youtube videos are really low^^

Tremendous intricate work!
Really beautiful and impressive,
and great job on your photographers part too.
Lighting is awesome.

Yes, I myself am speechless again and again how Markus captures the atmosphere to the point. We have been doing the projects together for years now - and without him and his work the projects would just not be possible in this manner.

Did you take any inspiration from the numerous mini-series?

Well, I know (and like) the mini-series, so I can't rule it out - but no, not intentionally. Visually, I was rather inspired by the book illustrations of David Palumboin. Especially in terms of atmosphere, I think they are unsurpassed great!

Stunning work!! Welcome to the SKMB!

Hey, thank's!! - and thank you for the warm welcome!! :)

I would love for you to do Calla Bryn Sturgis, from The Wolves of Calla.

Yeah, I thought about it!! But such a project would then have to cover the whole TOWER (all or nothing), and THIS is definitely not a project that could ever work alongside the bread job...or in my appartment...or in my lifespan... :(o_O

Lol! I don't think it would be more of a challenge to do the Tower, I mean, its essentially an inanimate object. You would need to have Roland at the bottom though, with the Horn of Eld, although there would also have to be a field of roses, and the Crimson King, lol Well, maybe it would be a bit of work. Did you ever think of adding figures, say miniatures, like Ben Mears or Mike, for instance? The fact that you are considering the Dark Tower gives me hope. You should check out Isanove's drawings of the Tower.

I'm biased too cause Salem's Lot is my favourite SK book

Thank's - and: Yeahh, also one of mine (suprise :p). It was the first KingI read - at the age of 12. I nicked the book from my sister's bookshelf and was enormously impressed. I have the clearest pictures/memories of the story from this first reading. Always loved it since as one of my all -time-favourites. Now I'm also very excited about the remake and hope that it will top the mini-series from 2004.

Yeah, you're right, one could build the Tower and a rose field around it - but what would be the appeal in that? There are so many good implementations of this motif, I wouldn't have much new to add here. It would take a broader concept to find a new approach here. Beside - I really hate to build plants!! They are quite annoying. And a complete field of roses would firmly drive me insane :biggrin-new:

I briefly thought about it when I built Derry 3 years ago but discarted the idea soon. First of all I am not very good at building figures and secondly I prefer building just the loctions to tell the story. I think that's more atmospheric...and adding figures would make it look artificial, especially on the pictures.
