Do you think that over time ALL of his work will be adapted to film?

Will all his works be adapted to film or television in the long run?

Creepshow only had 2 King short stories compared to three originals, and the sequel only had 1. I’d say only having King stories would defeat the purpose of Creepshow.

Plus there’s only so many Stephen King stories that would make good TV episodes.
Plus shows like Tales from the Crypt weren’t purely comic book adaptations, I believe that one was mostly originals. Honestly I’d love to see other author’s horror short stories get the spotlight too.

Stephen King isn’t the only competent horror writer on the planet, you know?
I didn't say that he was. But will these TV writers be as good as one of the best selling authors of all time? Anyone who thinks this random group of TV writers can write a better horror story than King are delusional. That was the whole thing about Creepshow, it was King's stories with George Romero. This show would go nowhere without King's name. They should either do the story with Stephen or not at all, if not then don't call it Creepshow.

My middle school demons have come back to haunt me

At least watch the show before criticizing it?

The stories from the first two Creepshow films are all by King (there is a third Creepshow film, but so awful I couldn't finish it). Weeds, The Crate and The Raft are also published stories. I assume the others were written specifically for the film, because I've never heard about them being short stories too. But they were all written by King, with the difference that on the first film he did the screenplay himself, where on the second film the screenplay was done by Romero based on King's stories.
So, it would be more in keeping with the movies to have the tv-show be all King stories.
