That's how I say it. Is that wrong? I know people say mis-CHE-vous.I always pronounce mischievious as mis-CHEE-vi-ous just to piss people off.
My one daughter, the grammar nazi extraordinaire, says I pronounce it wrong. She also says it hurts her ears when I say it. She can be one weird kid.
Mis-chuh-vuhs is the more common pronunciation.
Yes, my che in my mind had the same pronunication as your chuh.
