Did anyone get the DVD? Any good deleted scenes?any sex or bedroom scenea wiht bill and beg like the mini series

The 4K, BD, and DVD are all the theatrical cut of the film with some added extra's, just like part one. They'd call it the Director's Cut or Unrated Edition if it had extra scenes, and they may release directors cuts of the films later on but they'll first determine if its highly profitable because if it isn't, they won't.

Finally got around to watching it, and it was okay..minor gripes here and there, I am one of the flat earthers or something that hate change and wish some of the stuff wasn't open to intrepretation by the director, but oh well.. my favorite moment was the shout out to The Thing(1982) where the head sprouts the legs, and Bill Hader says Palmer's line perfectly " You gotta be ****ing kidding.." Good stuff..

Its one of my faves as well and the first one I saw. I loved the pool scene and how they were trying to be edgy with the homoerotic themes, I heard the actor who played Jesse felt exploited at first but got over it.

So over the Christmas break I was perusing the Goodwill store nearby and what song should come on but the very song from the montage in Jesse's room. It took me a second to realize that's what it was. So obscure, I never thought I would hear it anywhere else.

Just got the blu-ray. Haven't seen it at all yet. I loved the first one. We have the French/Dutch blu-ray here, but it has all the same extras. It's called Ça in France, and the French title is also big on the front, just as with the first blu-ray. Surprisingly while it was rated 16 here, in France it is rated 12. I certainly found the first one a 16 in terms of content.
It came in a red box this time, unlike the first which was black I think.

Very curious. I love that we have a lot of longer horrorfilms lately. And it also has way more extras than the first, which had very few.
Gonna watch it tonight, so my thoughts next week.

Really loved Chapter 2. It is my favourite of the two films, where in the mini-series the first part was by far my favourite. I like the actors who play the adults much better here than in the mini-series. It's also nice that the film is so long. But it's never slow or boring.
Obviously it is to a degree as much Muschietti's It as it is King's. Muschietti added a lot of things of his own, and it's a fairly free adaptation that won't please purists at all. But it's been a long time since I read it, so it's not something that bothers me really. I'm not constantly comparing it to the book so much.
I like that in Chapter 2 Pennywise is not so much used, the less you see him the scarier he becomes to me. Skarsgard said that his Pennywise is perhaps longing for his existence to end (he does seem lonely in a way), and contrary to the book he welcomes the Losers back and is glad to see them. Also the Losers make him experience fear, which is something he can instill in others, but hasn't experienced himself yet.

In a visual sense I thought Chapter 2 was much stronger too. Lots of beautiful and unusual shots, especially early on used nicely to go from one scene to the next - a shot coming up from under a jigsaw puzzle for example, or the blood of one character dripping on someone else in a different scene. And balloons, lots of balloons!
The finale is really long (almost the whole last hour), but just keeps going and never feels stretched out too much. And then there's the recreation of one of the most famous sci-fi/horror special effects of all time.

Also loved SK's cameo. One of his better ones I thought, very funny. There is also a good deal of him in the extras. They seem to have had a blast making it, especially the kids, they compare it to summer camp rather than work.
One thing I wondered: is the constant referring to the disappointing ending of Bill's books (even by SK himself in his scene) a direct reaction to the often heard criticism that SK's books don't have good endings? Or is it just a joke for the sake of only the film and its story? Haven't heard the commentary yet, so maybe it's talked about there.
On the whole I was very happy with it, and enjoyed it immensely.

It may just be me, but I thought the cameo was a bit of a slight towards Steve, Bill's books don't have good endings, like Stephen King, supposedly. I think Steve does have a few good endings though. But I thought it was insulting, obviously Steve didn't think so, that's why he agreed to it. Which is actually quite funny, coming from a movie with a ridiculous ending itself.

It can be seen as insulting, or them poking fun at the people who feel the books have bad endings. It can be seen either way. In general it's not just SK, people complain about the endings of books, movies and series all the time. It just seems hard to write an ending that pleases everyone. I think during the reading or watching of a story we anticipate in our minds our own preferred ending, and that doesn't have to be at all the writer's ending.

I don't think King feels at all his endings are bad, he adressed the issue one time on Twitter and said:

"Of course for years some people have told me I don't know how to end a story. I call bullshit on that, but everyone has an opinion. :) "

His endings have seldom bothered me too greatly. Sometimes the build-up of tension towards the end is better than the actual finale (Revival for example). He writes long books and you would need longer finales to do all what came before it justice, to balance it out. He doesn't always do that, but It Chapter 2 certainly does.

ok then they are going to weight untill Andrew the director does his master 6 hour cut of the directors cut he has been talking about, he even wants to go and shoot more footage that he was not able to do so. So naybee. I am just surprised we did not see Ben and bev in the bedroom. Or at least kiss, but then again they had to kill a monster so not shure if sex was on their mind. Lol. Andrew the director is doing ”the flash” dc character movie. That should be interesting.

Right now Andrew is just throwing out random ideas. He's mentioned he would like to put both movies together as one so that they're seamless, he also has mentioned he'd like to add back the extra hour that was cut from part 2 and still put them together. There's also talk of scenes from the second film being added earlier into the film if they're put together. However, Andrew is just tossing out his personal thoughts, the studio has not given him the green light on any of it the last I heard. I think the studio will hold out for awhile before deciding because if they go this route, it will be something the die hards will want but a lot of the casual fans of the films won't bother double dipping on, especially since quite a few complained about part 2 being too long as it is now, so an additional hour, that may be overkill to some.

Time will tell...

The only Steve King book I have a problem with, in terms of endings, is TDT Series.

The Outsider’s climax was super anti-climatic, the monster was lame and super unmememorable
and gets beaten to death with a sock with a few pebbles in it without putting up any fight
People complain that IT chapter 2s ending is anticlimactic but I thought it was an interesting way to do it at least, maybe I’m looking at it from an adaptation perspective and not a movie one, but it’s a much more fitting end to a monster than being overpowered by a group of preteens

I've watched the second chapter of It in a theater when it came out, soon I'm going to re-watch it in the original, anyway I don'remember all the details as it's been a rather long time. It would be fun to re-watch it as I really like this adaptation (a little bit less than the first part, but still). I think this is one of the best SK movies released for the past few years. It would also be cool to see the deleted scenes, as I understand, they did not present them yet? I've heard there were some really scary things, too scary to show them.
