May have already been said but.... when you can actually finish one of his 1000+ page novels without it seeming like a chore.

I dig the mans work but most books I read are usually 300-400 pages, I think King's books are the only ones that I have that are at times nearly three times the size. Some say quality of quantity but with King, you often get both.....

Totally agree. The sight of door stopper King novel makes me SO happy. Yes, you get both.

How was it messy? I whant to see it, but I have not seen the shinning or read the shinning at all.

I would go see it again - it IS a long movie but quite well done - just hope that next time I don't have two chatty folks sitting behind me (some people are very rude)
