There were times when I had to stop watching because it was just too intense. Fascinating character study, though, in how someone could become so ruthless, or was he always that way and had suppressed that side. Seeing Jesse and others having the many relapses after getting sober was heartbreaking and I really wanted to smack him when he was purposely enabling others to use again. I'd wondered right up to the last few shows if Walter was somehow going to beat the odds again and somehow get out of it but the writing was on the wall that he wouldn't. And by that time I wasn't sure I wanted him to. Call me a romantic but I'd like to think that Jesse made it to Alaska after all and took up woodworking.
Yeah, regrettably, Walt joined the dark side and apparently had no regrets. Tragic, IMO. It destroyed me to watch his loving relationship with Junior fall apart. Crushing. Please take time to watch El Camino when you have recovered, LOL. It's a movie follow-up.

Have you noticed the 4 SK Books in Hanks Bookshelf ?
I noticed Everything's Eventual in one of the episodes but missed those.

Side note: I think it was when Steve was writing the columns for Entertainment Weekly that he commented that Breaking Bad was one of the best written shows on TV. Bryan Cranston sent him a hand-written thank you note which I thought was very classy.

I`ve missed the Everything's Eventual part.

There are Bag of Bones, The Drawing of the three, Four past Midnight and Froma Buick 8(Thanks Doc Creed ) in Hanks shelf.

Absolutely. I kept hoping that the truth would come out that
Walt didn't kill Hank.
so that Jr./Flynn would know. It probably wouldn't have changed the rest of how he felt about him but that was an important piece. I also had one of those nit-picky moments about how the Schwartz's were supposed to explain where they got the money to give to fund the trust and/or repay themselves for doing so. I suppose it would be easier for billionaires to launder that kind of money but it would still be a problem I would think.

To your first comment: yep, same here. Walt Jr and Holly were probably the only uncorrupted people on the show. Hank was a close second.

We started watching this week. Only on season 1, about 6 episodes in, but enjoying it so far. Thanks again for the recommendation!
Yep, then you get to the next season and it's just ... meh. Season three is pretty good as is some of season four, but it ends with a pretty good conclusion with season four, so I thouhgt that was it. They did a few more seasons but my guess is that they only did that because of how popular the show became. The show is pretty good, don't get me wrong, especially when compared to the nonsense Netflix seems to be puting out. But it's overrated, most BB fans would agree, it is not one of the best tv series' of all time.

The second season of BB might very well be the worst season of a television from a good show. Terrible.
