Hey Y'all.
My friend Jay Erwin was severely injured in a tree cutting accident last fall. After several surgeries, he is now paralyzed from the chest down. It's a miracle that he is even alive.
I went to school with both Jay and his wife, Lisa. They are two of the most genuine, kind, down to earth people you will ever meet. They are in need of a handicap equipped van, so that Jay would be able to easily get the wheelchair in and out of the van. They are currently using their car, and Lisa or one of his kids has to lift him out of the chair and into the car. Recently, Jay entered a contest to win one of three specially equipped vans. The contest is based on votes, and does not cost anything to sign up and vote. You can vote every day until May 9th, and there is a bonus question that will add an additional vote for every correct answer.
Would you please consider going online and voting to help Jay out? The link will take you to a page where you will see a photo of Jay and Lisa and a short paragraph about him.
Thanks for your consideration. ♥
The following is an excerpt from his wife, Lisa.....
Hey Guys.. Jay has entered to win a handicap van. It is based on votes. You can vote each day between now and May 9th. If we won this van Jay Erwin could drive again. The car we have now Jay cannot lift his wheelchair up and over the seat. He would not pass the driving test due to his shoulders not being able to sling the chair in the car. Please vote each day.. I would love for Jay to get even more independence.. Thank you and God Bless....
