No, I didn't like it. I turned it off.

I meant to put this in my above reply to Doc Creed. Hubby watched a western with John Cusack in it the other night that I slept thru :)biggrin-new: recurring theme!) called Never Grow Old and he said that Cusack's character was so vile it made you not want to like John Cusack anymore. It must have been bad! He said the movie was very dark but good.
Yep, exactly what I mean. (Side note: took me forever to watch a Nicholson flick where I didn't picture him axing a door. LOL)

I had to explain how drive ins work to my kids yesterday. :D Ali was wondering why there were all the little speakers.

But it got me wondering, with drive ins making a comeback of sorts, they aren't all at already existing sites, so how do they handle the sound aspect?
The ones near us have you tune the radio to a certain frequency and the sound comes out of your car radio

Cell (2016)
I checked this out back when it came out, but because the board is ending I might as well give my thoughts on it. I think that this film was wrongly villified when it came out, this will not be a popular opinion but it is what it is. I thought that the cast was great, Sam Jackson and John Cusack, come on. To note: I have not checked out the book Cell, so my opinion of it is based solely on the movie. There seemed to be a real sense of terrifying fear with this movie, the plot was excellent, that is probably more due to Stephen King right enough. The ending is a shocker, I believe it was different in the book but fans disliked the ending of the book? Overall I enjoyed it, there, I said it.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Another film I thought I would give my thoughts on because the board in ending. It's Marvel, so CGI fight scenes, predictable plot, weird acting etc. The first act is good because it is just the aftermath of what happenned in the previous movie, Infinity War. Theis film does a much better job than Infinity War in balancing the cringy humor and serious scenes, Infinity was is terrible for that. CGI, Political Correct blockbuster, it is 2020 after all. The fight at the end wa sridiculous, Thanos was a good villain right enough, I thought that the final confrontation should have been just him and Iron Man, but that is just me. Was anyone surprised at what happenned to Steve and Tony? It was obvious that the actors were done with the characters and wanted to leave. Marvel film, there you go.
