These two shows were the reason, well that and a job I had at the time, that I got on the internet, granted, rather late (in 2003), in the first place. "I doodle. You do too. You do doodle too..." - Willow (to Buffy in 'Gingerbread' epi 11 season 3) It's also where I got my posting name... as Oz says to Willow, it's a man's chord....

Is it still the same band? Ghost of the Robot? (I think that was the name...) I have a bumper sticker that says "Spike Lives" that I won for an entry in a fanfic writing contest... the site that it happened at was a good place to go once upon a time, but you know how it goes, a long-time troll never goes away and they just root in there... too bad...

Yeah, it was Ghost of the Robot. They played a lot of songs from Murphy's Law but they're coming out with a new album soon.

I'm a huge fan. Buffy is my favourite tv-show ever. Too bad it quit, but the last two seasons weren't all that great so it's probably for the better.
The Season 8 comics are okay, but they have a very different feeling from the show. I thought the comics before that felt more like the show.

Also, Sarah Michelle was here for the premiere of The Grudge. I got her autograph, although she didn't come across as very sympathetic in the interview she did. She mocked the interviewer to the point where he said: 'Ok, you take over then...' and handed her the microphone. I don't know if she's often like that or she just didn't get his vibe - I think it was the latter.
Anyway, it was fun to see her. She arrived in a nice white limousine and all. You never forget things like that. :)

Did Stephen ever mention Buffy in one of the novels? He often mentions popular series at a certain point, like Twin Peaks (I believe in Needful Things he mentions it), Fringe (I believe it's mentioned in In the tall Grass) or X-files (he also wrote an episode of it, of course).
I haven't come across Buffy though. Anyone did and if so in which book?
Could also be he's not a fan of it.

I missed Buffy when it was popular, but DD#1 got me to watch just a few weeks ago & now I'm hooked. We're in season 5 right now. I saw the last few (with Fillion) when she last watched the series, so I know how it ends, but I don't even care-it's great fun. Now I think I might need to watch Angel, too...

It's always good to see a new Buffy convert. I did a Buffy re-watch last year and it never loses it's appeal. Angel is a very good show as well and I think you'll enjoy it.

i love both shows and watched them beginning to end several times. I was ecstatic when Buffy finally developed a relationship with Spike and was even more thrilled when the character transcended from one show to the other. 'Angel' deserved more seasons then it was allotted...

I rewatched season three of Buffy recently and had a re-appreciation of Buffy and Angel's relationship.... and how having your heart out for all to see could be interpreted as incredibly gross if you stopped and thought about it...
