Heart surgery is so dangerous.. A good man I know, he was one of my best friends' father, died in a very good hospital after a small nick was made in an artery that was unintentional and he passed away.. Pretty scary going into the hospital these days but of course it's been going on for a long time, they say that there are a lot of unintentional deaths in hospitals. Even old Hoss, big Dan Blocker, died during surgery that did not work out..download.jpg

So sorry for your friend's father, what an awful shock. A small nick in an artery made 'unintentionally' could have been a major error of concentration. But doctors are human and have their own problems and some do graduate from the bottom of the class! Human error is deadly in these scenarios unfortunately.
